2021 22 Grants Awarded
The Coach Sauer Foundation is proud to announce that 14 youth hockey organizations have received grants for the 2021-22 season.
The Coach Sauer Foundation will also continue to be the primary sponsor of the Regional Disabled Hockey Festival for the third time. The event will be held Oct. 23-24 at Madison Ice Arena and will feature sled hockey teams from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana and Iowa. Last year’s event was canceled because of Covid concerns.
In the last three years the Coach Sauer Foundation has awarded $19,500 to 20 youth hockey organizations throughout the state.
Grants of $500.00 were awarded to 14 organizations that promote hockey at the youth level. They applicants that received financial aid were youth hockey programs in Altoona, Thunderbird (Baraboo), Eau Claire, River Falls, Monroe County, Manitowoc County, Oshkosh, Waukesha County, West Salem, Sparta, Stoughton, Reedsburg (RWD) plus the West Madison Polar Caps and the Madison Patriots.
